We have lived in our current house for 4 years now. It is a mock tudor house built in the early nineties, and there is one thing that we have never really utilised in the house and this is the garages. We have never parked a car in them and have pretty much used them as a junk tip … probably the same as most people with garages. One of the garages has actually been converted into a room which has been taken over as the kids computer / gaming room so realistically we have only got one full sized garage and a small storage area behind the door of the second one.
Once we got Bob the Campervan we knew that we had to do something as the old garage doors were lift over ones and Bob was about 2 inches too tall to get in. These are the old doors ..
but today we had new rollerdoors fitted by Rollerdor that utilise all of the room that the brickwork allows and we have gained extra height as the wooden facias have been removed. Both doors were fitted in around 3 hours, and by the time Dave got home after he received the call at work to say the fitters had arrived on site they were already in and taking the old doors off. These are the new garage doors …
I’d strongly recommend Rollerdor if you are thinking about replacing your old and tired garage doors. They were really efficient, did a really neat job and left the area really tidy. I wasn’t at home when they were fitted but Dave said the guys were really great.
