Happy Christmas to you all

Just a quick post to wish you all a very Merry Christmas. Santa came last night and left the kids lots of presents including blue Nike Mercurial astro trainers for Miles and the Lego Ramses Pyramid for Ethan, that they have both been asking for.

I got some amazing presents from Dave, so a big thank you to him … I must have been very good throughout the year. I knew I was getting a new laptop as I helped ensure it got delivered in time, but I wasn’t allowed to see it until this morning when I unwrapped it, and it is gorgeous

Then I knew I was getting a big present as I had to be locked in the kitchen while Dave got it into the house and it was all very secretive at work. I have been going on about getting chickens for the last year or so and its finally going to happen as I now have an red Eglu.

This is what the Eglu looks like all set up with the run (except mine’s red), so I’m looking forward to rescuing a couple of battery hens and having an endless supply of fresh eggs.

Dave is happy playing with his new Archos 7, so that was a pretty perfect present I got him…

… and now I’m pretty exhausted after the early start and I suppose all the build up to today. Phew …. what a relief that everything went according to plan!
